In January, some students are going to leave QISS because 1st semester over in January. So, I interviewed some students who are going to leave QISS this semester. My questions were “how do you feel about leaving school? And “how was your school life in QISS?” I’m also going to leave QISS so this is a personal experience as well.
Grade 11
Kevin Wi- I had great time in QISS and I want to graduate here, but I can’t, so I’m little sad. Most of my days at QISS were awesome because there were a lot of events such as ACAMIS or dance party and I really liked it. I hope to visit QISS someday.
Grade 10
Frida Nordstrom- I’ve been here for 2 years now, and the thought of leaving Qingdao is really sad. Coming to QISS was a bit of a shock, but I have grown to love everyone here. I will remember ACAMIS, where we never won but always have so much fun, the school trips and all the crazy things that I went through with my wonderful classmates every single day. Listing all of my memories would take too long, but I want to thank everybody who has contributed to that list, I will always remember you, my awesome friends, and I can’t believe you put up with me for so long! I am excited about moving to Russia where I will go to a really big school and experience lots of new things, I just hope I won’t freeze to death. Going to QISS has developed me into a (hopefully) good person, and I will bring my experiences and memories with me for the rest of my life.
Grade 9
Kane Wi- I had learned a lot in QISS such as communication skills and English. For example, communication skills I had a lot of difficulties of talking with foreign people because I was afraid of speaking English. But now I became more confident so that I can speak with them and I believe it is because I learn English from native English speaker teachers. Also, I’ll visit QISS so don’t cry Hahaha.
Grade 8
Jack Gwak - I’m really sad about leaving QISS because it was really fun. Especially I liked field trips. When I go back to Korea I think I’m going to miss QISS forever.
James Jung- I’m sad that I have to say good bye to my friends and I worried about adapting to a new school.
John Lee- I don’t know that I’m leaving or not but if I do I will miss everyone.
Grade 7
Billy Lee – As my brother John said we are not sure leaving the school. So, now I don’t know what I have to say.
Grade 6
Harry Park - I love QISS and I’m never going to stop missing QISS.
James Woo - I feel nothing that I’m leaving the school but QISS is kind of nice school!
Amy Oh - I really enjoyed the school and it was nice opportunity to talk and play with people from different countries.
